It's a sad sad day for Pittsburgh.
The Lounge has closed (due to a recent shooting on Penn ave). I'm sure their beloved patrons will miss stepping outside for a quick Sunday afternoon smoke/puke/smoke break, in-between beers.

just posted on michael's 12/5 entry that the place was / is called Horoscope, and it's closure is a boon to the neighborhood and a step in the right direction. i'm not big on gentrification to the detriment of local families, but there is simply nothing redeeming about that bar, which has averaged a stabbing and a shooting per year for as long as i've known of it.
